Dr. Aliya Babul is a data scientist and quantitative strategist with 7+ years experience working in python and developing AI/machine learning algorithms. She completed her PhD at Columbia University in computational astrophysics where she was also an LSSTC data science fellow and is completing her MBA at the Said Business School at Oxford University. After completing her PhD, she went on to work at Morgan Stanley as a quantitative strategist and is now a venture partner and AI and quant expert at Global Millennial Capital, and a faculty advisor with Scholar Launch where she has developed a workshop series leading participants through the full process of developing their own AI model. In addition, she is also a venture capital fellow with with Climate Tech Circle Fund and an AI venture fellow at M Ventures.
